Membership of Coquet Yacht Club
Membership of Coquet Yacht club is open to all whether boat owners or not.
How do I apply?
Applications for membership must be made on the Membership Application Form, a copy of which is available on the website. Potential members must be proposed by existing full, ie voting, members of the Club. If you do not know any members then contact the secretary.

Types of Membership
Annual Subscriptions
Subscription is payable on the 1st January in each year and is effective until 31st December. New members elected after the first day of July will pay half the annual subscription applicable to that class of membership in the year of election. New members elected after the first day of October will not be due to pay a further annual subscription until the end of the year following the year of election.
Full Family Membership annual subscription £ 125
Full Single Membership annual subscription £ 110
Joining fee for Full Membership £ 125
This is a one off joining fee payable with the first subscription.
Associate Membership £ 60
Cadet Member (under 18) £ 5
What are you entitled to as a member?
A Full Member has full use of Club’s facilities, is able to store a boat on site and, on application, can be allocated a Club mooring.
A Single Member will have one vote in general meeting of the Club.
Family Membership can include one or two adults and all children under eighteen years of age or under twenty one if in full time education and each adult will have one vote in general meeting of the Club.
A Cadet member is a member in his or her own right or as part of a family membership and is under eighteen or, if in full time education is under twenty-one.
Associate membership is available to those that do not own a boat that sails regularly from Amble. An Associate Member does not have a vote at a general meeting of the Club.
